Weddings

A wedding is one of life's great moments, a time of solemn commitment as well as good wishes, feasting and joy. For Christians marriage is an invitation to share life in the spirit of Jesus Christ based on a solemn public and life-long covenant between a man and woman. It is given as the foundation of family life in which children are born and nurtured. If you either live within our parish or have a qualifying connection with St Catharine's church you are welcome to speak to one member of the clergy about your wedding. A husband and wife may also have a Prayer and Dedication Service after a Civil Marriage.
