Kingsholm Church of England Primary School and Nursery is our church school. We have three foundation governors including Jo Pestell (our vicar) serving on the governing body, and we pray for the school daily and as part of the ‘Prayer for schools’ network. We also help lead collective worship in school, the children come to church to celebrate major Christian festivals of Christmas, Easter and Harvest, we give opportunities for children to explore different aspects of the Christian faith through school values, and in curriculum elements such as looking at baptism. We support families in need (such as providing Christmas hampers for 100 families - photo below) in partnership with the school, and offer practical help where we can.
